Terms of Service

These are sample terms of service for the Aster Health demonstration store. They show how a store sets out the rules for using its service. They are not legal advice and they are not the agreement of a real business.

Using the service

You must be at least 18 and give accurate information when you create an account, answer a questionnaire or place an order. You are responsible for keeping your login details private. Please do not misuse the site or try to interfere with it.

Telehealth consent

Some products here need a review by a licensed provider, which may take place online. By continuing you agree to receive care by telehealth where it is offered and to share information that is complete and true. Telehealth is not for emergencies: if you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number. Completing a questionnaire does not guarantee a prescription. The provider decides whether treatment is appropriate for you.

Prescriptions

Prescription products are sold only when a licensed provider has approved them for you. If a provider decides a product is not appropriate, your order for that product will not go ahead. Follow your provider's and pharmacist's instructions, and tell them about every medicine you take.

Payments and refunds

Prices and any shipping charges are shown before you place an order. For a prescription product, your payment method is authorized when you order and charged only if the provider approves it. If it is not approved, the authorization is released. If something is wrong with an order, contact us and we will work with you on a replacement or a refund where that is appropriate. Medicines cannot be returned once they have been dispensed.
